Below is a list of 50 scholarships available to Graduate Students. The majority of these scholarships require a short essay submission along with an application. A few scholarships are conditional on the applicant’s ethnicity, their chosen major, or whether or not they struggle with a disability.
The scholarships listed below are open to Graduate Students but not always exclusively grad students only.

Applicants must submit a 700 to 1000 word essay, “Why are you pursuing studies about neurological and chronic diseases?”
The scholarship is open to graduate students and undergraduates.

Applicants must submit a 400 to 600 word essay, “Describe an important life lesson you’ve learned and what it taught you. How will you use this lesson to help you move forward? How has the experience or lesson made you stronger as a person and in life?”
Association on American Indian Affairs Scholarships

Applicant must be pursuing an Associate’s degree or higher, be enrolled with an American Indian tribe and submit a copy of that enrollment. They must also maintain at least a 2.5 GPA.
Requirements
Submit an application and submit essays that show the student’s connection to their tribal nation and Indian country.
Applicant must be a woman 25 years of age or older. They must also be a resident of either Colts Neck, Englishtown, Farmingdale, Freehold Borough, Freehold Township, Howell, Manalapan, Marlboro, Monroe Township or Morganville. The applicant must also be enrolled in a graduate or undergraduate program, and have completed at least 6 credits if a graduate student. Applicant must maintain at least a “B” average.

In addition to the application form, the applicant must include two letters of recommendation, a school transcript, and copy of last year’s previous tax return.
Applicant must be a full time employee or the dependent of a full time employee of the American Bus Association for at least 1 year. The student must have a 3.0 GPA or higher and be enrolled in a major relevant to transportation, travel, or tourism.

Applicants must be at least 25% Asian American and be a student with at least a 3.5 GPA.
Requirements
Application requires a video presentation showcasing the student’s work and their qualifications, an essay, and letters of recommendation. Applicants will also be judged based on leadership/community service experience and contribution, and in a phone/in-person committee interview. Scholarship winners will also be required to submit a short 1 minute “thank you” video.
Applicant must be a student in information and records management, specifically; Records Management/Governance or Archivist and Academic Library degrees/studies. Applicant must also be a resident of either Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, or New Mexico. GPA must be a 3.0 or higher.

Applicants must also submit a 200 to 300 word essay describing how their educational pursuits will benefit their career in records and information management and how it will support and add value to an organization. Recipients of the scholarship are required to attend orientation training, and provide annual reports documenting their activities and accomplishments. At the end of the program collaboration, recipients are required to submit a trip report documenting their experience, and a final report at the the conclusion of the scholarship program.

Applicant must be a student pursuing their master’s. A resume, 2 letters of recommendation, a transcript and an essay are also required. The essay can be 3 pages maximum, the topic is the applicant’s philosophy of health education, their professional goals, and their assessment of current and future issues in health education.
Applicants must have at least a 2.0 GPA. Awards are determined by academic record, demonstration of leadership, work experience, statements of educational and career goals, hardships, and an online recommendation
Applicants must be enrolled in a program that participates in this grant program and maintain at least a 3.25 GPA. Applicant must also complete Teach grant counseling annually and sign a grant agreement to serve or repay.

The American Occupational Therapy Foundation Scholarship Program

Varies per scholarship but basic eligibility requires enrollment full time at an AOTF accredited program along with one year of completed course work. Applicant must be in their final year if in the Occupational Therapy Assistant program.

Applicants must submit either an image or a one minute video about their personal migraine story or their personal light sensitivity story. These stories must also be posted to a social media account; Facebook, Google+, Instagram, or Youtube.
Applicants must submit either a three to five minute audio or video file or an 800 word maximum essay on personal development/ high performance. Candidates should incorporate one of the following principles and how it led them to success, “The law of attraction, having an attitude of gratitude, the power of positive thinking, or the focusing on the things you can control”.
All college students are eligible who have not worked 2 or more years as a photographer, videographer, audio reporter, or multimedia producer. This includes paid internships.
